When Ed came to us, he had just broken ground for a new office location in Waxhaw, NC. Him and his team were outgrowing his current Charlotte office location plus he wanted to move to a different location closer to his home.

The design direction that we received was exciting. He wanted to create a very airy, organic and earthy atmosphere with elements of nature where his team could feel relaxed and unwind when needed. With only limited sources of natural light, we used a lot of glass elements to let the daylight come through the office from the outside and paired them with wood and stone elements in the furniture and casework.

We also incorporated preserved moss art in his break area, which as a biophilic element is known to reduce stress while also absorbing noise. This same area also features a community table for informal meetings as well as fun light pendants that feature the same color than his logo. His tax accountants offices' feature different motivational quotes that can be seen while walking by. The conference room is the star of his space featuring classic Jonathan Adler light pendants and a custom wood conference table with a live edge.
